About Us

Standing Strong Together To Support Education

We began in 1992 when several business leaders and community members wanted to raise funds to bring the Internet to all seven schools in the school division. And today, as then, we are led by visionaries who have provided hundreds of grants and dozens of student scholarships to elevate education for Manassas City Public Schools.

Today, we support over 7,600 students and 1,300 educators and support staff in our MCPS family that includes five elementary, two intermediate, one middle, and one high school. We create programs and experiences for all students; support teacher and student needs; and build a bridge between our community and our schools.

Our Vision

The Manassas community will unite to support academic excellence, leadership and achievement for Manassas City Public Schools’ students and teachers.

Our Mission

We seek community support to encourage innovation, enhance quality education, and promote success for all Manassas City Public Schools’ students and teachers.

Why I Serve…

“The Foundation strives to make sure all children have the opportunity to shine, be innovative and create their own energy behind learning experiences. I’m proud to be a part of helping to ensure that happens.”
