F2B is an interactive, mobile literacy program that has been proven to increase academic vocabulary, comprehension, and critical thinking skills in young students. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Catherine Magouyrk, together with F2B, is leading Virginia and the nation in creating a transformative Preschool (pre-K) model that addresses the third grade reading dilemma. The STAND STRONG 4 EDUCATION EXPO is one of the largest education-focused business events in the Prince William Region. Close to 600 attended the most recent expo and represented businesses, families, Manassas City Public Schools, and the MCPS Education Foundation. We all come together to show support for education, the school division, local government, and our businesses. Click here to learn more.
Teachers and Administration within each school and overall division identify areas for support according to the needs of the student body in order to maximize student achievement. Sponsored by local businesses, grants are awarded annually to classroom teachers to develop programs across all curriculum areas:
